“Hera is a lovely little trad-style “short boat” built by Davison Brothers (Sawley, Notts) in 1981 and we have owned her since 1988. She is powered by an extremely reliable Sabb 10hp, single-cylinder engine which has been trouble free since we bought her. Internal fit out is partially Davison and partly owner and is suitable for two people with a sofa bed in the main cabin. The galley comprises a new Voyager 4500 oven, grill and hob together with a gas fridge. A Heron solid fuel stove is also fitted within the galley area. The pumped water system incorporates a Paloma gas water heater which is fitted within the small WC area where a Portapotti cassette toilet is located togther with a basic but functional shower. A glazed cratch with cover is fitted to the front deck providing additional covered space. She has a boat safety certificate current until Nov.2025.
Hera is 34′ – 6″ long and there is no current survey. She was last out of the water about 6 years ago for a full repaint and no problems were reported.
